Buccaneer Business for the Week of Dec. 1
I cannot believe we are starting December! Everyone hold on because this month is filled with lots of activities. Please remember to reach out to sponsors and coaches for more information.
We have our first wrestling scrimmage on Monday. We would love for our wrestlers to fill the Buccaneer love and support from each out you. We have two home basketball games for our Lady Bucs. Tuesday they will take on Elm Grove, and Thursday they will take on Rusheon. We would love to fill the student section. HMS will have a Toy Drive on Dec. 5. Students who participate in the Toy Drive by donating a new unwrapped toy or by donating $5 to School Cash Online are allowed to wear a holiday shirt with jeans. Please remember jeans may not have an holes, rips, or tears in them.

Tuesday we will have a Veterans' Day breakfast at HMS in our library. This is only for HMS students and their Veteran. There was an RSVP form that was already to out. It will be from 8:15 am - 8:45 am.
8th grade students completed an Aerospace unit in their science class. There will be an Aerospace Assembly on Tuesday at 9 am in the cafetorium. Parents will enter through the carline side and sign in with the QR codes provided.
Our HMS Football team will have their last football game on MONDAY at Airline High school. This is a change from the original schedule.

World Kindness Day is Thursday. Students will be encouraged all week to do random acts of kindness for others at HMS. Students and staff can submit the google form to Mrs. Addison and Mrs. Sanchez. Our Lady Bucs are ready to start their basketball season with two home games! Monday we will play Greenacres and Thursday we will play Cope. Games begin at 4 pm. All students must have an adult with them. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Tuesday our football team will battle North Desoto at home. Join us at HHS to cheer on our boys . All students must have an adult with them. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
HMS will have our Fall Pep Rally on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 2 pm. Parents of students being recognized are invited to attend. Please note we cannot check out students after 1:45 that day. Students will be in the Pep Rally, and it is too hard to locate them. An email was sent out with detailed instructions on where to park, where to enter the gym, and where to sit.
Our HMS choir will perform at HMS on Nov. 6 at 6 pm. We would love for you to enjoy their concert.

If you are interested in trying out for the Lady Bucs' Soccer team, you will need to get your waiver turned in to Coach Franklin before Friday. Our 7th and 8th grade girls will have tryouts this Friday.
