Buccaneer Business for the Week of November 3
NJHS is collecting canned good for Operation Blessing.
Our Lady Bucs are ready to start their basketball season with two home games! Monday we will play Greenacres and Thursday we will play Cope. Games begin at 4 pm. All students must have an adult with them. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Tuesday our football team will battle North Desoto at home. Join us at HHS to cheer on our boys . All students must have an adult with them. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
HMS will have our Fall Pep Rally on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 2 pm. Parents of students being recognized are invited to attend. Please note we cannot check out students after 1:45 that day. Students will be in the Pep Rally, and it is too hard to locate them. An email was sent out with detailed instructions on where to park, where to enter the gym, and where to sit.
Our HMS choir will perform at HMS on Nov. 6 at 6 pm. We would love for you to enjoy their concert.
Our Student Council will have their monthly meeting on Friday.
If you are interested in trying out for the Lady Bucs' Soccer team, you will need to get your waiver turned in to Coach Franklin before Friday. Our 7th and 8th grade girls will have tryouts this Friday.

Parents will park in the last row on the carline side (see map) and be allowed to enter at 1:45 through the door located by the girls' locker room (see map). Parents will need to scan our QR code to sign in to keep a record of who is in attendance. We will have a few Red Jackets by the door asking you to sign in. Once you have signed in, please show the red jacket that you signed in.

The Haughton Fishing Team will have a meeting this evening at Johnny Pizza on Highway 80. The meeting will start at 6:00 pm. If you have a student interested please plan to attend to find out details about the team.
Notices are being sent home with students who have not paid their fees for the school year. Please talk to your child this week to see if they received one. You can also log into school cash online and see if your child has fees that need to be paid. You CANNOT see the fees on Oncourse. You must look at school cash online.

Red Ribbon Week begins Monday. Our Student Council helps create a our "dress up" calendar for this week. Students should be in uniform bottoms Monday - Wednesday. On Thursday students need to make sure their bottoms still follow uniform guidelines for length and no holes. Please see the graphic for more information.
Yearbook Retakes, Club Pictures, and Team pictures will be Tuesday. If your student wants to wear "teaming up clothes" and take pictures they must bring a change of clothes. Students must be in uniform for pictures. Sponsor Mrs. Temple
