W.T. Lewis Elementary: W.T. Lewis is committed to supporting our military students through our Student 2 Student (S2S) program, services through our Military Family Life Counselor, celebrating the month of the military child, & our Military Club called Brave Bulldogs! The Brave Bulldogs will meet with other military students once per month. The objective of Brave Bulldogs is to provide a community of military students to connect with each other through shared experiences. Brave Bulldogs is open to all W.T. W.T. Lewis Elementary: Mark your calendars because Johnny’s Pizza Spirit Night is next Tuesday, September 23rd from 4-8pm! Take the night off from cooking, enjoy a night out with your family, & a portion of the proceeds will come back to the school to support our PBIS program. Just make sure you go to the location at 5510 Airline Dr. & tell your waiter or waitress that you’re there for the W.T. Lewis fundraiser! Don’t have time to dine in? Take out orders count too, but delivery is not. Spread the word & get EXCITED!!!

W.T. Lewis Elementary: The Bulldog Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the school and community. The Bulldog Art Club is open to students in all grade levels, Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each month, The Bulldog Art Club will host one meeting for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Each month will focus on a different medium and complete a different piece of art.
The cost for September’s Art Club meeting will be $35 per student, which includes all supplies needed & a snack/juice. Cost and registration is for this month only. Each month, a new sign up & registration will be sent out. Any additional proceeds will benefit the general fund, hospitality fund, technology fund & professional development fund.
Art pieces are subject to be used for the Bossier Parish i3 Art Expo in March. Art pieces will be kept and stored by Mrs. Mills and will be returned after the i3 Art Expo.

Medium: Acrylic Paint on Canvas
The September meeting date will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025. In order to provide time to purchase supplies needed, the deadline to register is Tuesday, September 23rd at 11:59PM.
The Art Club meeting will be held after school until 4:30 PM.
To participate in September’s Art Club meeting, complete registration information and submit $35 payment in School Cash Online.

Forms with house information were sent home with all students on Wednesday 9/3 so check those dog binders! Please be sure to select the correct House color when ordering - no refunds will be given. House shirts can be worn any day of the week & the store will close on September 24th.

W.T. Lewis Elementary: Attention 4th & 5th graders! The Kindness Krewe of W.T. Lewis seeks to create a culture of kindness by being kindness ambassadors in the school, completing acts of kindness, & working on service projects in the community.
The Kindness Krewe will consist of 4th & 5th grade students & will meet one morning a month, right after the first bell rings. The cost is $50 per student, which includes a W.T. Lewis Kindness Krewe tshirt & any supplies needed for the year.
