September is Attendance Awareness Month, and it is time to show off the power of presence because your attendance matters! Being in school every single day gives you the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with your friends and teachers. To celebrate, Haughton Middle School is kicking off a grade-level attendance competition among the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The grade level with the highest overall attendance percentage by the end of September will win a Halloween dance! Plus, any individual student who achieves perfect attendance with zero absences throughout the entire month of September will be rewarded with an exclusive popcorn party at lunch. Make every day count, help your grade claim victory, and prove that showing up is the first step to success!
